About EISFF
The idea of EISFF
The Euboea International Short Film Festival was born from a simple yet powerful idea in 2019: to create a festival that celebrates the art of short films with live screenings, connecting filmmakers and audiences in a shared cinematic experience. While the pandemic delayed our plans, we stayed true to our vision, refusing to settle for yet another "digital film festival."
In 2024, we proudly hosted our first edition with open-air screenings and an enthusiastic crowd on the island of Skyros.
In 2025, our second edition grew even bigger.
The audience of Skyros joined us again to celebrate storytelling in a place with no cinema during the rest of the year.
As we prepare for the next edition, we continue to believe in the power of stories, the importance of community, and the magic of watching films together — under the Greek sky.
Join us in this journey.
